Endless throne
Crystal sea and jasper stone
Heaven silence

Ancient scroll
Hand can't hold
I gazed into eternal courts where elders
Knelt in awe with crowns they cast on emerald glass fulfilling holy law
Fourfold creatures worshipped him whose
Radiance is fire yet in his hand a
Scroll so grand my heart swelled with desire
Then came the voice with angels
Cry a call from realm unknown who
Is worthy here resounded clear
Through every heart and throne
I searched all heaven, earth
Below, no champion appeared.
And overwhelmed
I sank and knelt, my eyes consumed with tears.
Then I wept

For the scroll remained unopened, my
Soul bereft
Hope fled
By despair the scene was frozen
Yet behold behold
What approached in strength and splendor
A lamb of old slain bold
Worthy now our great defender
An elder's hand upon my form
With comfort urged me rise.

Wounds, he stepped to heaven and stared.
With gentle power he drew near
Creation holding breath

Again, the victor over death
His hand reached forth, took up
The scroll, the cosmos gave reply.

Weeping ceased as praise unleashed from
Earth and heaven sky screaming
Then I wept

For redemption now unfolding, no secret kept
Since death
In the scars my heart beholding, praise resounds resounds
Every tribe and tongue confessing, the lamb is crowned unbound, worthy
Of eternal blessing
