Shunned At A Funeral - Carry The Cross

With our eyes had done
With dust on our shoes
Lost our lives, how's that good news?
They say we're fools
We laugh it through
Lose it all
That's how we win
They can mock our songs and steal our breath,
But we sing right through the threat.
They can bruise our backs, they can curse our name,
But the fire won't go out, no, it won't go tame
Carry the cross, lift it high
Down we go so we can arise
To lose is gain, to die is life
We walk the road our savior walked
Shattered lips still shout his praise
Blood stained hands still rise in faith
Chains may rattle, cells may close
But joy runs deep in broken throats
Carry the cross, lift it high
Down we go so we can arise
To lose is gain, to die is life
We walk the road our savior walked
Strike us down, we stand again
Bury us, the seed breaks then
What you call the bitter end, we call glory amen
We don't fear the fire or the blade
We don't bow to the world's parade
Every scar is a badge we wear,
Proof that
Christ has made us there
Carry the cross, lift it high
Down we go so we can arise
To lose is gain, to die is life
We walk the road our savior walked
Woah
Carry the cross lifted high
Down we go so we can rise
To lose is gain, to die is life
We walk the road our savior
Carry the cross lifted high
[And singing]
Down we go so we can rise
To lose is gain, to die is life
We walk the road our savior walked
Death is dead, we shout it loud
Death is dead, we join the crowd
Christ has won, the grave can't keep
Christ has won, our hope runs deep
Lose it all
That's how we win [screaming]
